The Rules

1. Age Restrictions

Under 10 : Born in 2000 or later
Under 12: Born in 1998 or later
Under 14: Born in 1996 or later

Please note that younger fencers may enter older events but not vise versa.

2. BFA Membership

Every fencer must show a valid BFA membership. If not will have to sign up on the day. Please note that if you have lost or forgotten your card you will have to sign up again and provide a self addressed envelope. After the event if your membership is confirmed by the BFA, then your cheque and form will be posted back to you.

3. Equipment

> Under Plastron
> Jacket
> Mask
> Glove
> Breeches
> Socks
> Lame Jacket
> Body wire (we rrcommend that you have two working bodywires)
> Foil, U10 (size 0), U12 (size 3), U14 (size 3) > we recommend that you have two working foils.

4. The Fencing Area

The hall is set up so that parents and coaches can have good access to their children / fencers from behind a barrier. Therefore no unauthorised person may enter onto the fencing area under any circumstances.
